Vacillating Landscape is an interactive sculpture that allows the viewers to create unique digital 3D landscapes by picking up the individual 3D printed hexagonal columns and placing them where they choose on the hexagonal grid. The 3D printed columns will have an RFID chip that will correspond with one of the RFID sensors in the hexagonal grid. The hexagonal grid corresponds with the digital landscape world that will be displayed on a monitor with a frame covering its bezels. Each hexagonal column has a small element of a landscape on it, such as a mountain, forest, lake, desert, or hills. Placing a column with a mountain on it onto a part of the grid will cause a mountain to appear in the digital frame landscape relative to the position on the grid. This will allow the viewers to make their own custom landscapes in person and digitally.
