An idea I have been considering for awhile. This piece is a wooden cube that, when triggered, will automatically unfold itself into an architectural piece. This project is purely sculptural for now, but the research and applied mechanics may be used in other sculptural objects or for larger sculptures that can be interacted with by viewers in the future.
