Sensitive Hexagonal Array Proposal

The concept for this piece is one that encourages viewers to interact with the grid of hexagonal columns. These interactions include clapping, covering the piece, shining light on the piece, blowing on the piece, and waving. Sets of light sensors, wind sensors, motion sensors, and sound sensors provide the viewer with many possible combinations of interactions. Each combination causes certain patterns to appear in the hexagonal array. Each hexagonal column will move independently and move into one of three positions: completely down, halfway up, and completely up.
